khilafah in Islam

 


Khilafah is defined as a general leadership system for all Muslims in the world to apply Islamic laws and carry the message of Islam to all parts of the world. The person who leads him is called the Caliph, can also be called Imam or Amirul Mukminin. For example, when his Caliph was Abu Bakr Ash-Shiddiq he was known as Khalifatu Ar-Rasulillah (his successor Prophet Muhammad), when Caliph Umar bin Khattab he was called Amirul Mukminin (leader of the believers), and when Caliph Ali bin Abi Talib he was called Imam Ali.

Khilafah comes from the word خلف (kha-la-fa), which means to replace. The definition of the Khilafah itself is a preposition of the word Khalifah. The word Caliph is taken based on the Qur'an surat Al-Baqarah verse 30.

In general, a system of government can be referred to as the Khilafah if it applies Islam as Ideology, sharia as the basis of law, and follows the leadership of the Prophet Muhammad and Khulafaur Rashidin in running the government, even with different naming or structure, but still adhere to the same principles, namely as the leadership authority of Muslims around the world. So that in its implementation, when a Khilafah State stands (with the consent of all Muslims), then the oath of allegiance of a Caliph, then the establishment of the Khilafah State and the bail of another Caliph after it becomes invalid. This is based on the hadith of the Prophet Muhammad about the caliphate. 

In its history, the Caliph is a title given to the leaders of Muslims after the death of the Prophet Muhammad, namely with the nickname "Khulafaur Rashidin" or "Amir al-Mu'minin". Based on this nickname, the name of the Caliph was taken. So, the Caliph himself refers to the person who ruled or replaced the position of the Prophet Muhammad. While the Khilafah refers to the leadership system of the ummah, using Islam as an Ideology and its laws refer to the Qur'an, Hadith, Ijma and Qiyas.

The Khilafah system is a system applied in the early era of the development of Islam. In its history, after the death of the Prophet Muhammad, the companions pledged Abu Bakr to become Caliph. Then Abu Bakr died and his companions pledged allegiance to Umar bin Khattab. Then Umar bin Khattab died, the companions pledged allegiance to Uthman bin 'Affan.

Then Uthman ibn Affan died, the companions pledged allegiance to Ali ibn Abi Talib. Then such a system changed during the reign of the Umayyad Caliphate, the Abbasids, until the Ottoman period where after the Caliph died, he was replaced by his son. This system is similar to the system of government today. But what distinguishes it from the system of government is that the power of the Caliph is the power aimed at representing the people in governing and applying Islamic Sharia as the basis of law and government, while the power of the king is the absolute power that has full power to rule his country (Absolute Monarchy). symbolic which usually does not interfere in the affairs of government (Constitutional Monarchy).

The Development of Islam in Europe

 

Islam has its own history in this continent which is often called the blue continent. Ten centuries ago, Islam was a religion that triumphed in several European regions, especially Spain and Islamic rule brought much progress on the continent even though this was contrary to the state of Islam in Europe today.

The entry of Islam to Europe

Unlike the case with the process of entering Islam in America which was spearheaded by the lower class society, Islam entered Europe through the path of power, namely during the reign of the Umayyads, under the leadership of the Caliph Al Walid and who was based in Damascus. At that time, Caliph Al Walid sent troops to Nort


h Africa to expand its territory. In around 709 AD, Mus bin Nusyair, who at that time served as the Governor of Africa, sent Tariq bin Ziad and his troops to explore the territory of the European continent, namely Spain and it turned out that these troops succeeded in occupying Spanish territory without any significant resistance. Furthermore, in 710, Tariq bin Ziad and his troops who were predominantly Arab and barbarians repeated their mission to expand the area by crossing the Mediterranean to the Spanish mainland and he and his troops landed on a hill which was later called jabal Tariq or known as Gibraltar.

The troops of Tariq bin Ziad had to fight against the troops of the King of Spain, King Roderick and the war lasted for eight days and was eventually won by the Islamic forces while King Roderick and his followers fled to the northwest. The Spanish territories that were controlled were Archidona, Toledo, and Granada which were then successfully subdued, and Musa bin Nusyair followed to Spain. Furthermore, with the help of the remaining Spanish troops and the support of the oppressed Spanish people by Roderick, the Islamic Forces succeeded in controlling France and its neighboring countries to Scandanavia, Germany, Poland, Albania Hungary, Romania, and Bulgaria.

Period of Islamic Rule

After Spain was controlled by Muslim troops, Spain later became a part or province of the Umayyad dynasty and had its capital in Seville. Some of the governors who had ruled there were Musa bin Nusyair, Abdul Aziz bin Musa bin Musyair, then Abdur Rahman As Saqafi, Al Samah bin Malik, and later replaced by Abdur Rahman Al Ghafiqi who died after the war against France. The last governor of the Umayyads in Spain was Yusuf Al Fiqri who replaced Abdur Rahman Al Ghafiqi. During the reign of the Abbasids, Abdur Rahman bin Mu'awiyah bin Hisyam who was a descendant of the Abbasids fled to Spain and established a caliphate there. Furthermore, the caliph

Abdur Rahman managed to conquer Spain and earned the nickname Ad-Dakhil which means "the Conqueror". Islamic rule in Spain ended after eight centuries of rule and around 1492 - 1502, and also after the kings of Europe who were Christians united, especially the King of Spain and the king of Portugal. Advancement of Islamic Government in Europe

During the eight centuries of Muslim rule in Spain, a lot of history and progress has been achieved considering that eight centuries is not a short time. Muslims succeeded in bringing a good history to the Spanish population because they did not treat the Spanish population as colonies and behaved violently. The Islamic government treated the Spanish population well and did not limit their activities. The Fall of European Islamic Governments

Currently, Islam has experienced a lot of progress in European countries and many European communities have embraced it. Although some countries act arbitrarily and prohibit Muslims from carrying out their obligations, such as France, which prohibits its citizens, especially women, from wearing the hijab (read women in Islam, the position of women and the role of women in Islam). The True Story of a Muslim Army Fighting with a Vampire



The Ottoman Caliphate (may Allah bless them), made an extraordinary effort in upholding Islam. Even so, it's not just this ... He memorized the Koran, he studied Islam so much. And even Dracula also studied the Koran even though he was not Muslim. He speaks Arabic, Persian, Turkish, Romanian and other languages. And then, he returned to his country, while Radu remained in Constatinopel.

Dracula became the ruler of his country, because Muslims realized that they could not make a Muslim to be a leader in that country, because the population was Christian. This happened after Dracula committed so many atrocities, even Christians began to stay away, because Dracula was Romanian, so he was Orthodox, he was not Catholic. But he said to the Pope, "If you bring more troops to me, then I will be Catholic for you, whatever you want, I will change my religion for you." He did not care. He is not a truly religious person. He is just a pragmatic person on the battlefield. So even Christians began to stay away. Even so, the Muslims managed to chase him, and face him in battle, and it is not known whether the Muslims killed him, or his own people who turned against him and killed him. So Dracula was killed.


So the Ottoman Caliphate, the Muslim armies had defeated Dracula, and what they did was cut off his head and brought it to the City of Istanbul, and they stuck it on a very large stick, they raised their heads and put them at the gates of Constantinople, where the head was in there for 2-3 months to say, "If you want to be someone like him, fight against us!"

This is the story of the destruction of Dracula. And once again, as Muslims, most of us do not know this story. How many people know that Dracula is a real person? And we as Muslims fight it and kill it. Do you know why people say that garlic or silver bullets or wooden sticks can kill Dracula? None of these things can kill Dracula. About Syia



Shia Islam is a splinter flow and Shiites is one of the many splinter sects in Islam.

  هذا ما تقاضى عليه على بن ابى طالب ومعاوية بن ابى سفيان وشيعتهما

  كان بدء امرنا انا التقينا والقوم من اهل الشام, والظاهر ان ربنا واحد, ونبينا واحد, ودعوتنا فى الاسلام واحد, ولا نستزيدهم فى الاسلام بالله والتصديق برسوله, ولا يستزيدوننا, الامر واحد الا ما اختلفنا فيه من دم عثمان, ونحن منه براء
(نهج البلاغة- 448)

  انى اكره لكم ان تكونوا سبابين, لكنكم لو وصفتم اعمالهم, وذكرتم حالهم, كان اصوب فى القول وابلغ فى العذر, وقلتم مكان سبكم اياهم, اللهم احقن دماءنا ودماءهم, واصلح
  ذات بيننا وبينهم (نهج البلاغة -323)
                                         
"I do not like you become a detractor (pencaci-maki), but suppose you showed their deeds and their circumstances you mentioned, then it is so it will be accepted as an excuse. Then you change your scolding them with:
O Allah save our blood and their blood, and we make peace with them
(Nahj Balaghoh - 323)

Thus the direction of Imam Ali told his followers and lover. If revile Muawiyah and his followers be prohibited by Imam Ali, then what about those who revile Shiites now even mengkafirkan Muawiyah and his followers, it worth they are called as followers of Imam Ali
Back to the understanding of the Shia in the Arabic language is called Shia Lughotan, as we have explained above, so now there are people who think that his Sunni Shia automatically. Where no other things due to their lack of knowledge about it. So that they do not know that we are facing today is Madzhab Shiite or Shiite or full flow is the flow of the Shia Imami Ithna Asyariyah (Ja'fariyyah).

Therefore, the term Shia Lughotan is not used by our parents (Salafunassholeh), they fear ordinary people can not distinguish between the meaning of the word Shia groups or followers of the Shiite stream or Madzhab Shia. Where it because of the Shi'ite sects are manifold, all of which have been rejected as heretical by Salafunassholeh.

Furthermore salafunassholeh use Muhibbin term for followers and lovers of Imam Ali and his descendants and the term is used until now.
There is one note to note, therefore salafunassholeh do not want to use the word Shia in mentioning the word or word group of followers because of Shia sects are manifold, then finally just used the word Shia in calling Rofidhah groups, namely those Shia known to berate Sayyidina Abu Bakr and Sayyidina Umar.

So now if anyone mentions the word Shia, then
question is the flow or schools of the Shia Imami Ithna Asyariyah.
Indeed, in the absence of clear information about the Shia and Shia Lughotan Madhhaban, it is easy for people to obfuscate issues Shia, so it is a good opportunity for them in their efforts mensyiahkan Indonesian society known since ancient family of the Prophet Muhammad as lovers.

Sacrifice: Approach To God

Etymologically the word sacrifice comes from qurb or qurban which means close or mendekat1. "Anyone who has had the ability but he does not sacrifice, then he must not approach our place of prayer" (Narrated by Ahmad ibn Hanbal and Ibn Majah).

Jurists differ in understanding "has the ability" as follows:

1. Hanafi school, defines "ability" is to have senisab alms outside the needs of food, clothing, and shelter their families.

2. Maliki, defines "ability" is a treasure more than the primary requirement in that year.

3. Shafi'i school of thought, defines "ability" is a person considered capable if it has property worth the sacrifice of animals outside of their needs and the needs of people who are under its responsibility.

4. Hanbali school, defines "ability" is the possibility of getting an animal for sacrifice, even in the form of debt, but the relevant afford it.

Animal Sacrifice Quality

As for the terms of the quality of sacrificial animals legally as follows:

1. No defects, as shown Prophetic traditions:

"Four unauthorized animal sacrifices made: damaged his eyes, sore, lame, thin and powerless" (Narrated by Ahmad ibn Hanbal).

2. Has reached a certain age, based on the traditions of the Prophet Saww:

Quantity Animals to Sacrifice

Sacrifice of animal slaughter time

In the slaughter of sacrificial animals Jurists differ in terms of time seeing it as follows:

1. Hanafi school believes that the old sacrifice was for three days, starting from the day of Eid al-Adha until the 12th of Dhul-Hijjah. But they view it mandatory for owners of sacrificial animals consuming a third of the sacrificial meat, because the command contained in the above verse implies compulsory. 1. Shafi'i School, argues that one should not sacrifice for other people if unauthorized person. Similarly, should not be sacrificed for those who have died without a will of it. Basically the word of Allah Most High: "And that one man no gain other than what has been earned," (QS.53: 39). But if there is a will to slaughter the sacrificial animals, it must provide all the sacrificial meat to the poor, unless there is consent from the intestate.

2. Maliki School, argues that its legal makruh sacrifice for the people who have died without his statement before he died. If he was before he died has menyetakan his intention, then the sunna to sacrifice for her heirs.

3. Hanafi and Hanbali school, look no obstacle to sacrifice for the people who have died, though without his will, because people who have died more to expect assistance in the form of prayers and alms from his brother who is still alive. Relations Mahram in Islam

Mahram woman is a man or men who are still included with close relatives because of heredity, sesusuan, or marital relationship so that should not be married in between. The use of the word Muhrim to mahram to be seen.

Because mahram Descendants

Mahram because wet nursing

Distribution of Jihad Against the Infidel People

Allaah says,

ليس على الضعفاء ولا على المرضى ولا على الذين لا يجدون ما ينفقون حرج إذا نصحوا لله ورسوله ما على المحسنين من سبيل والله غفور رحيم () ولا على الذين إذا ما أتوك لتحملهم قلت لا أجد ما أحملكم عليه تولوا وأعينهم تفيض من الدمع حزنا ألا يجدوا ما ينفقون

"There is no sin (because not go jihad) against those who are weak, for people who are sick and for those who do not get what they spend, if they apply sincere to Allah and His Messenger. There is no way at all to condemn those who do good. Allah Ta'ala says:

لا يستوي القاعدون من المؤمنين غير أولي الضرر والمجاهدون في سبيل الله بأموالهم وأنفسهم فضل الله المجاهدين بأموالهم وأنفسهم على القاعدين درجة وكلا وعد الله الحسنى وفضل الله المجاهدين على القاعدين أجرا عظيما

"It is not the same among the believers who sit (which is not part of the fight) that has no udzur with those who strive in the way of Allah with their wealth and soul. Allah has preferred those who strive with their wealth and soul of the people who sat down one degree. To each Allah has promised them a good reward (heaven) and Allah has preferred those who strive for the person sitting with a great reward. "(Surat al-Nisa ': 95)

Even if jihad is Fardhu 'ain for ever there would be no opportunity to compare between the mujahideen with qaidin (which did not come out jihad) and surely Allah will not promise good for everything.

When is Jihad Being Fardhu 'Ain

The scholars have established that jihad is not a Fardhu 'ain except under three conditions:

First, when the two armies had met and confronted by Alla Ta'ala says:

يا أيها الذين آمنوا إذا لقيتم الذين كفروا زحفا فلا تولوهم الأدبار

"O ye who believe, when ye meet those who disbelieve are being attacked, then do not back them (back)." (Surat al-Anfal: 15)

Second, if the unbelievers have entered the Muslim lands, for the people of the country must fight against and drive them. Allaah says,

يا أيها الذين آمنوا قاتلوا الذين يلونكم من الكفار وليجدوا فيكم غلظة

"O ye who believe, fight the unbelievers who around you, and let them see violence than you." (Surat Al-Tauba: 123)

Third, if the priest had shown a people to come out for jihad, they must come out based on the words of the Prophet shallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, "So if you ordered to come out for jihad, then come out!." (Muttafaq' alaih)
