The Ottoman Caliphate (may Allah bless them), made an extraordinary effort in upholding Islam. Even so, it's not just this ... Because many of us know about this, we know they conquered Constantinople. But as I said, there's still a lot that we don't know about. For example, many of us are not aware that at that time Muhammad Al Fatih rahimahullah fought against DRACULA.
Have you ever heard of Dracula before? When I say 'Dracula', you might imagine a vampire. You might say, "Ah, really, Muhammad Al-Fatih fighting against a vampire? What else will you convey? That he fought against Superman? "No. Dracula really exists. He was an ordinary man named Dracula and he ruled in the southern part of the country now called Romania.
As Muhammad Al-Fatih began to move towards southern Europe, such as Bosnia, Serbia, Hungary, all these countries, residents of Wallachia (Southern Romania), they wanted to fight the Ottoman caliphates. Even so, they were very weak, so they made a peace agreement with them. So as part of the agreement, Muhammad Al-Fatih said to the leader, "You must send your two sons to me, and we will send them both to Istanbul to be educated." So he sent his two sons, one named Vlad and the other named Radu And Vlad is what we know as Dracula. Because the word 'Dracula' means 'son of Dracul' which is the name of his father. 'Dracul' means devil, devil. So he is a 'child of the devil', and this nickname does fit his nature.
So when they both went to Constantinople, they studied Islam, and his brother converted to Islam. His brother Dracula, namely Radu rahimahullah, became a Muslim. He memorized the Koran, he studied Islam so much. And even Dracula also studied the Koran even though he was not Muslim. He speaks Arabic, Persian, Turkish, Romanian and other languages. And then, he returned to his country, while Radu remained in Constatinopel.
Dracula became the ruler of his country, because Muslims realized that they could not make a Muslim to be a leader in that country, because the population was Christian. So they sent Vlad (Dracula) to then he gave up his country, and then took control of his country. Even so, Dracula did not want to do what the Sultan (Muslim leader) wanted.
The Sultan sent an envoy to him, to someone who could talk to him and they said to him, "You must pay jizyah (taxes, because you are now the leader of a country, then you must pay jizyah." So Dracula said to him, "If you want entering my harbor, you must release your turban. "So they said," No, we will not release it for you, we will not release it for unbelievers. "So he said," Let go! "And they refused. Then Dracula ordered someone to come with very large nails and hammers, and Dracula said, "If they refuse to release it for me, they will never let it go again." And he ordered that his turban be nailed to their heads, and of course this killed them. So this was a sign of war Dracula decided that he wanted to fight with the Islamic State.
So Muhammad Al-Fatih sent so many troops to fight them. But because of Dracula's tactics and he also knew very well about the Ottoman Caliphate, he was able to defeat them on several occasions. And what he did really made him a savage demon. What Dracula did was, when they captured the Muslim army, he carried out an act called, "getting along". And if you don't know what "getting started" is a pretty scary thing. What they do is bring a very large stick, they sharpen the ends, they stab you from the rectum, through the body, until the stick penetrates into your mouth. They kidnapped them, they stabbed them through their bodies, and many of them were still alive at the time, and this is how they killed. Then they leave it like that, and start juggling the next person.
And when the Ottomans saw the condition of their captive forces, they found that on a long road leading to the capital of this country, they found 20,000 Muslims impaled on the sides of the road. Imagine this, and we suffer in the present, without doubt that Muslims suffer in the present, but things like this you cannot compare. 20,000 Muslim troops were seized. You can imagine how Muhammad Al-Fatih felt, seeing just one Muslim killed, but when someone mutilated their bodies like this, this was not acceptable at all. So he decided to send Radu rahimahullah, who was Dracula's brother. Muhammad Al Fatih sent him to fight his own brother. And in the end, Radu managed to catch up to his own brother.
This happened after Dracula committed so many atrocities, even Christians began to stay away, because Dracula was Romanian, so he was Orthodox, he was not Catholic. But he said to the Pope, "If you bring more troops to me, then I will be Catholic for you, whatever you want, I will change my religion for you." He did not care. He is not a truly religious person. He is just a pragmatic person on the battlefield. So even Christians began to stay away. Even so, the Muslims managed to chase him, and face him in battle, and it is not known whether the Muslims killed him, or his own people who turned against him and killed him. So Dracula was killed.
So the Ottoman Caliphate, the Muslim armies had defeated Dracula, and what they did was cut off his head and brought it to the City of Istanbul, and they stuck it on a very large stick, they raised their heads and put them at the gates of Constantinople, where the head was in there for 2-3 months to say, "If you want to be someone like him, fight against us!"
This is the story of the destruction of Dracula. And once again, as Muslims, most of us do not know this story. How many people know that Dracula is a real person? And we as Muslims fight it and kill it. Do you know why people say that garlic or silver bullets or wooden sticks can kill Dracula? None of these things can kill Dracula. It was Muslims who killed Dracula! So if there are people who want to follow Dracula, they will feel the same rage from Muslims.
